NEOS Life is a registered business name of Australian Life Development Pty. Ltd. (ABN 96 617 129 914, AFSL 502759), responsible for distributing and administering NEOS Protection plans. NEOS Protection includes five types of cover: Life Cover, TPD Cover, Critical Illness Cover, Child Cover, and Income Support Cover (PDS lines 17-22).

TPD Cover pays a lump sum on permanent inability to work due to sickness or injury. Available inside super or outside super. NEOS uses standard own-occupation and any-occupation TPD definitions per the PDS.
Critical Illness Cover pays a lump sum on diagnosis of a listed critical illness event. Each of the nine insurers on our panel offers life cover, TPD, trauma and income protection — but the structure, named features, and wellness programmes vary meaningfully. We do not rank insurers, and which insurer suits a given client depends on underwriting outcome and circumstances. Below are factual differentiators specific to NobleOak Life Limited (NEOS Protection), sourced from the current Product Disclosure Statement.
NobleOak has been protecting Australians with cover since 1877 — one of the longest-standing APRA-regulated life insurers (PDS lines 27-29).
The Critical Illness Plus upgrade adds Partial Critical Illness Benefit for specified partial events on top of standard Critical Illness Cover (PDS lines 1027-1028).
Critical Illness Cover Reinstatement Benefit can restore the policy after a partial claim depletes the sum insured below $10,000 (PDS lines 1037-1041).
Replacement cover from another insurer may waive the 90-day qualifying period if specified continuity conditions are met (PDS lines 1015-1023). This makes switching insurers easier when changing employer or super fund.
